The carbon filter utilizes some of the best filter materials available. The main part of the filter is carbon. The capacity of carbon is graded by the absorbing power of iodine (iodine value). The BTM-2000 carbon filter has 6 levels of filtering.
  1. Pre-Filter: Filters stains, dregs, sediments, small particles, etc. The impurities up to 0.01mm will be filtered in this stage.
  2. PE Plane Filter: Filters particles not filtered by the Pre-Filter.
  3. Activated Carbon: Filters Phenols, Anionic Surfactants, Total Trihalomethanes, Malathion, Parathion, Penitrothion, Diazinon, 1.1.1-Trichloroethane, Tetrachloroethylene, Trichroloethylene, Color, odor, Chlorine, Taste, Carbaryl, Benzene, Toluene, etc.
  4. Calcium Sulphite: Catches chlorine, organics and dissolves them.
